Daniel Burgess is thrilled to be collaborating once again with Theatre By Development (TBD) for his third fully produced show, Urinal. Passionate about creating original work rooted in personal experience, Daniel brings a bold and honest voice to the stage. He is the founder of Ubin Movement Theatre, where he wrote and performed Testing Site for the Cannonball Festival, also produced by TBD.

Bryant Yamil Gipull Garcia (he/him/el) is a Puerto Rican director & theater maker based in Philadelphia. Bryant is a frequent collaborator of Theatre By Development. His most recent credits include In The Green (UArts), Ghost Ride: An Immersive Play On Bikes (Agile Rascal), Down With The Crown (Yes And!), Ballyturk (UArts). Bryant was also the producer of the 2022 Equinox New Play Festival. Bryant holds a BFA in Directing, Playwriting + Production from the University of the Arts. When not in the rehearsal room, Bryant can be found cheering on the Eagles and Phillies, cycling throughout the city, or exploring new corners of the world. Scarlet is excited to be making her Fringe debut and being a part of the premiere of Urinal! She will be graduating from Temple University this spring with a BFA in Technical Production & Management and is planning on pursuing Production Management for live events. Scarlet would like to thank TBD for the opportunity to be a part of this production and Lindsey for the mentorship. Born in Cleveland, Ohio Blake Laisure is a Philadelphia based actor that attended the University of the Arts for musical theater. You may have seen them around Philadelphia performing stand up or doing Improv with Sidequest Theater. They most recently performed in a 10 minute workshop with TBD. Blake has also worked with the Walnut and Gameplay theater. Blake wants to thank their friends and family for all their support and TBD for giving them this opportunity.

Miguel Ortega is bouncing-off-the-walls excited to make his TBD debut as a character that is basically just him at that age but scarier. He is a local actor, playwright and director who was previously in Ghostlight Player's 'Spelling Bee' (Panch), Drexel University's 'Lightning Thief' (Gabe/Mr. D), 'Anonymous' (Anon), 'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change' (Groom) and wrote and produced his first original musical 'Henchmen: the Musical' (check it out on YouTube!). Symphony Yvonne Thompson is a Philadelphia based artist. She is a graduate of University of the Arts with a BFA in Acting. She most recently performed in Lemonade Stand’s Fresh Squeezed festival reading Standardized by Brooke Shilling. Some of their other favorite theater credits include Veronica, Totally Tits Adventures of Pootine, Little Orphan Annie but All Adults, A Little Death, Bodies and Bones, Revolt. She Said. Revolt Again. and The Rose Garden. Recent film/voiceover credits include: Spun (Kalahne Serpanchy), Bad Habits (Annaliese Grunder), Burger Chubs (Gabriella DiMarco) and My Hair Story (Giovanna Jones). Maya Arianna Lebrón is an emerging production designer and scenic carpenter making her theatrical debut as set designer for Urinal. She enjoys the process of taking space and designing visually stimulating worlds that align with the directors vision of their art. Maya hopes to continue exploring the possibilities of theatrical design while carrying her love of cinematic aesthetics into every project she touches. Urinal marks the beginning of her journey into the Fringe scene and an exciting new chapter in her creative career.

Siobhan is a local Philadelphia Lighting Designer and is the Production Manager at Theatre Exile. She is excited to be working with TBD again, especially on a piece that has struck as deep a chord as Urinal has. As a trans woman, she has a unique connection to the world that Urinal finds itself in the restroom of.
